The purpose of the "Trends of Visegrad Foreign Policy 2015" project is to offer a comparative survey assessing the views and opinions of foreign policy trend setters' (politicians, diplomats, journalists, experts) from the Visegrad Group. The survey conduced in all four countries, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia will cover current global and EU-related challenges and expectations concerning future development, and will thus provide a unique insight into the foreign policy cultures of the four states. The study aims to examine in what foreign policy areas could further cooperation be possible and where high expectations should not be placed. The results will help to commence a new discussion on the future of the Visegrad 4 and to forge internal cohesion of the group.
The „Trends of Visegrad Foreign Policy 2015” builds on the experience of various similar surveys conducted by the Association of Interantional Affairs, among others the "Trends of Eastern Partnership" survey on which the Center for EU Enlargement Studies has also cooperated.
