European Foreign Policy Scorecard 2016

CENS researcher Zsuzsanna Végh has been one of the contributing researchers of ECFR's European Foreign Policy Scorecard, conducting background research on Hungary's foreign policy in 2015. The European Foreign Policy Scorecard, published annually since 2011, provides a systematic assessment of Europe’s foreign policy performance, analysing the performance of the 28 member states and the EU institutions on 65 policy areas arranged around six key issue areas: Multilateral issues; Russia; Wider Europe; Middle East and North Africa; United States; Asia and China.

Internship Call - Frontiers of Democracy

The Center for EU Enlargement Studies (CENS) at the Central European University is looking for a part-time intern to provide assistance on the project entitled “Frontiers of Democracy: Embedding Democratic Values in Moldova and Ukraine”. The intern will gain work experience in the research and think tank field as well as insights into project management in an international environment.

CENS researcher Zsuzsanna Végh discussed the Center's "Frontiers of Democracy: Embedding Democratic Values in Moldova and Ukraine" project on January 20, 2016, in Tilos Rádió on the program called "Civilizáció". The discussion was ranging from democracy promotion by the Visegrad countries to current developments and the state of civil society in Moldova and Ukraine.

Latvian Certificate of Appreciation to CENS members

Last year, CENS Director Péter Balázs and Research Fellow Zsuzsanna Végh, were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Hungary for their outstanding contribution in assisting with Latvia's Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Hungary.
