Keeping Europeans Together: Cohesion within the EU

On September 20, 2016, CENS researcher Zsuzsanna Végh took part in the discussion in Berlin launching the book "Keeping Europeans Together" published by the European Council on Foreign Relations. The book assesses the position of individual EU member states within the Union, their attachment to European policies and partners along a series of indicators collected in the European Cohesion Monitor.

CENS at the Antall József Summer School

CENS director Péter Balázs and CENS researcher Zsuzsanna Végh held lectures at the Antall József Summer School organized by the Antall József Knowledge Center in Budapest. Professor Balázs discussed the interests of the V4 in the European Union on July 7, and Zsuzsanna Végh talked about the Eastern policy of the Visegrad Group on July 11.

CENS colleagues Gabi Gőbl and Andras Szalai have participated in a panel discussion in Vienna on June 9, 2016, on the first public event of an Austrian initiative seeking transborder cooperation related to the refugee crisis and migration. It was the first joint event of the project titled Joint solutions for common challenges: How to deal with the refugee and migration crisis across borders.
