The project initiated by the Prime Minister's Office in Hungary aims to analyze China's domestic state of affairs, its economic growth strategy and its international relations. Based on the analysis, the main goal of the initiative is to draw policy-relevant recommendations that can contribute to enhancing relations between China and Hungary. The project focuses on economic-, political- and trade relations, culture and education, scientific interaction between the two countries and also studies migration patterns. Work is carried out mainly in Hungarian.
In the framework of the project, CENS examines the following questions:
Investment climate in China, CEE companies activities in China and possibilities of participation for Hungarian companies
Chinese investment in Hungary and CEE
Develpment of the European integration through China's eyes: expectations, interests, potential sources of conflict
China - EU Relations
Trade policy, bilateral trade relations with China (China in the world economy, EU institutional framework for trade relations)
