Professor Péter Balázs has participated in the Prague European Summit organized under the title "The European Union in a Time of Crisis: Better Together?" on June 6-8, 2016. He gave a keynote speech on "Why better together?" in the opening plenary session along with Czech Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek and European Commission Vice-President Kristalina Georgieva, and opened the last day of the conference discussing the current state of the European Union in times of crises. Professor Balázs is member of the international program board of the Prague European Summit.
