Last year, CENS Director Péter Balázs and Research Fellow Zsuzsanna Végh, were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Hungary for their outstanding contribution in assisting with Latvia's Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Hungary.

Ahead of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga in May 2015, CENS organized the conference titled "Eastern Partnership and Its Prospects" in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia, which formed part of Latvia's EU Presidency program in Hungary.
