The aim of the project is to bring new impulses to public and expert debates in the Visegrad countries concerning the Eastern dimension of EU policy and to increase and sustain the role of Visegrad countries in shaping the political agenda of the Commission, the European Parliament and member states in the area of CFSP and Neighborhood Policy.
Basic framework of the project consists of a series of high level annual policy conferences in the Visegrad countries and two follow-up seminars each year in Brussels and Berlin.
During the three-year long project the following topics will be discussed: the strategic framework of the EU's eastern policy, EU relations towards Russia and Ukraine, a need for common EU energy policy, implications of full access to the Schengen system as well as migration issues.
