CENS organises roundtable discussion on the state of Serbian Civil Society in Belgrade

On the 9th  of September 2009 CENS organised a public roundtable discussion concerning the findings of the ongoing IVF supported project about the state of international assistance to the Serbian civil sector. Participants of the discussion were representatives of government, donor and civil society organisations.

Preceeding the roundtable discussion, CENS Research Director Andras Deak held an internal presentation to the project participants highlighting the current findings and outlining the preliminary recommendations.

CENS organises research fieldtrip to Serbia to study international donor policies towards the Serbian Civil Sector

CENS organised a week-long fieldtrip to Serbia, as a part of the IVF supported project on international donor policies towards the Serbian Civil Sector. Six participants took part from CENS and its project partners.

During the fieldtrip, the researcher held interviews with over 20 invited representatives from donor and civil society organisations.

The fieldtrip was generously supported by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Belgrade Office, and the Hungarian Embassy.
