EU-Turkey relations are entering a significant phase in the coming year. Turkey is in the transit line of two most important energy frontiers for EU, the Middle East and the Caspian regions. Developing these gas and oil reserves require large financial funds, long-standing and reliable business relations and considerable political efforts for the European Union. Turkey, with its distinguished role in the region and far-reaching experience, is a natural partner in these European aspirations. In order to take a critical look at the EU-Turkey energy relations, CENS- CEU and IPC- Sabancı University, Istanbul are gathering energy and policy experts; academicians, important policy actors in a conference, entitled:
