The Center for European Neighborhood Studies is looking back at a remarkable busy and successful year 2017. Working together with our national and international partners, throughout the year CENS organized 30 events that brought together 195 international experts and policy-makers from 39 countries to discuss central issues and key events of contemporary European politics. In particular, we hosted:

• 9 international conferences
• 3 book launches
• 8 roundtable and panel discussions
• 5 lectures in our Ambassadorial Lecture Series
• 5 public lectures

We would like to thank our partners, speakers and audiences for making each of these events highly informative and thought provoking exchanges of views and ideas and CENS is looking forward to an equally successful 2018 to keep CEU a prime location for international debate for our colleagues, students and the general public.
