The 5th edition of the European Foreign Policy Scorecard, an annual evaluation of the European Union's foreign policy published by the European Council on Foreign Relations, was presented and discussed on March 31, 2015, at the Central European University. The participants of the discussion, organized by the Center for EU Enlargement Studies, debated various highlights and findings of the latest Scorecard, such as the EU's performance in the Eastern neighborhood, Germany's new-found role as a foreign policy leader, the future of EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, EU-US relations in light of the TTIP, and shared their overall expectations and prognosis about developments in 2015.
The discussion was moderated by Edit Inotai, senior fellow of the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy. The Scorecard and its methodology was introduced by Susi Dennison, senior policy fellow at ECFR. Vladimír Bartovic (Director of EUROPEUM, Czech national researcher of the Scorecard), Levente Benkő (Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and Péter Balázs (Director of the Center for EU Enlargement Studies) participated in the discussion.
